These wood frogs were hand crafted by a family of woodcarvers from Northern Thailand using raintree wood. The wood is an invasive, non-endangered species often used to make drums and other percussive instruments.

Reproducing realistic frog sounds with these critters is simple. Hold the frog in your hand by the hind quarters, allowing air to pass under the belly and through the holes on each side of the mouth. Using the accompanying stick, run it over the rides on the frog's back, moving from back to front, and the frog croak. The smaller the frog, the higher the pitch.
