Grow Your Own Aragonite Crystal Kit | Blooming Limestone

Grow your own crystals at home with this fascinating Aragonite Crystal Growing Kit. Using a piece of naturally occurring blooming limestone from Western Utah and ordinary household vinegar, you can watch delicate aragonite crystals gradually form right on the surface of the rock.

Simply follow the instructions included on the back of the packet, add vinegar, and let nature do the rest. Over approximately 2–3 weeks, new aragonite crystals begin to develop, transforming the limestone into your own unique mineral specimen.

It's a fun hands-on activity for curious kids and adults alike—and a great way to see geology and crystal formation in action.
